Types of Wood Chipper Knife
1. Straight Chipper Knife
• It is a long, flat blade with cutting edges on one or both sides.
• It is used with a disc chipper or a drum chipper.
• It is commonly used in pulp mills, lumber mills, and biomass power plants.
2. Rotary/Disc Chipper Knife
• It is used with a disc chipper.
• The blade is attached to the rotating plate to chop the wood into pieces.
